Role Mission
To ensure the successful integration of FSEL's course materials on the company's e-learning platform, ensuring that the materials are both accessible to learners and academically effective.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist the Academic Director with recruitment and hiring by
a. reviewing candidate CVs
b. conducting interviews
c. discussing interview results with the AD
2. Build and maintain a strong team of Content Uploaders, Subtitler Writers, Games Database Writers, and Chatbot Writers by
a. training and supporting new hires
b. assigning the monthly workload to team members based on their strengths
c. keeping track of each team member's progress
d. regularly reviewing each team member's work and providing feedback and guidance when necessary
e. approving assignments that pass inspection and returning those that fail
f. applying disciplinary measures for team members as needed (in liaison with the AD and HR)
g. reporting monthly records of work to the AD
3. Ensure alignment with course objectives and learner needs by
a. consulting the course pacing guide
b. uploading and titling lesson videos
c. creating, configuring, and adapting timecode exercises that appear during lesson videos
d. creating, configuring, and supplementing homework exercises
e. creating speaking/writing forum prompts which address each lesson's target language
4. Ensure the quality of learning materials by
a. conducting content reviews and proofreading for all configured materials
b. attending regular review sessions with CUs, SWs, GDCWs, and CWs
The above duties may be revised in light of changing circumstances by mutual agreement between the company and the CQAM.
