MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationship Management
• Work directly with B2B travel agents and partners, following our sales process.
• Create tailor-made travel programs that meet client expectations and align with their business goals.
• Proactively introduce new Asia Pioneer products, destination updates, and exclusive offers to clients.
• Regularly update partners with the latest information on destinations, hotels, and services.
• Take ownership of client communication, ensuring professional, timely, and detail-oriented responses.
• Support clients during the sales cycle and after confirmation, ensuring a smooth guest experience.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to resolve on-ground issues and handle feedback/complaints effectively.
Sales &
Business Development• Participate in setting annual sales targets for assigned accounts.
• Analyze monthly conversion rates and follow up on every request to maximize success.
• Manage annual product renewal with assigned partners.
• Research prospects, analyze their current products, and tailor tour programs to meet expectations.
• Identify competitive advantages and highlight Asia Pioneer DMC's unique value proposition.
• Follow up with prospects, record feedback, and work closely with the
Sales Team Leader on strategy.
• Conduct sales calls and follow-ups with new potential partners after each trade fair, roadshow, or advertising campaign for Asia Pioneer DMC.
Internal Contributions
• Maintain updated client profiles and information in CRM tools.
• Support team members (training, backup, reporting).
• Attend team meetings, inspection trips, FAM trips, and internal/external training courses.
• Contribute actively to department evaluations and company-wide initiatives.
Competencies
• At least 1 year of experience as a
Sales Executive or in a similar role within the travel/tourism industry.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (other languages like German/French/Spanish are a plus).
• Solid computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, CRM tools).
• Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, especially for tailor-made FIT/GIT travel.
• Good destination knowledge of Vietnam & Southeast Asia.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to close deals and maintain relationships.
• Ability to analyze situations and provide quick, effective solutions.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks/projects.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Management, Foreign Languages, or related fields.
