Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Accountant will manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledger entries, and reconciling bank accounts. The role involves preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasts, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
The Accountant will handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The role also includes collaborating with internal teams, supporting audits, and providing accurate financial reports to management for decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and local tax regulations.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel (e.g., spreadsheets, formulas, reporting tools).
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Prior experience in an accounting or finance role;
experience in a corporate or commercial environment is an advantage.
