JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for managing accounting operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely financial closing, and compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
The role covers General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Inventory & Costing, Tax Compliance, and Statutory Reporting, while supporting the establishment of accounting processes in a manufacturing environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage General Ledger and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Oversee Accounts Payable and ensure timely, accurate processing of accounting transactions.
- Maintain Fixed Asset records, depreciation, capitalization, and asset verification.
- Handle inventory accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing costing.
- Prepare and review VAT, CIT, WHT, and other statutory tax filings.
- Prepare statutory financial reports and support audit activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, and regional teams to support accounting and costing activities.
