Accounts Payables Expert with German

Let us introduce you the job offer by EY GDS Poland - a member of the global integrated service delivery center network by EY. As a part of our finance teams, you ensure the financial integrity of our organization and provide support in the area of accounts payable.

The opportunity

Support of the "Supervising Associate Accounts Payables Expert with excellent German and English skills" Function that keep our organization on a long-term success.

This role will establish a trusted relationship with our clients, understanding their needs and teaming with other Finance team members to bring best in class analytical and accounting support, functional expertise and reporting solutions.

Your key responsibilities

First contact point for complaints raised by Engagement Teams and CBS Functions located in Germany
Support supervising daily, weekly, monthly reporting delivered by Shared Service Center
Preparing of special analysis requested by Accounts Payables Lead to support better decision making
Attending regular team meetings to discuss actual topics and support evaluating improvements regarding processes, quality and timeline
Actively supporting end-of-quarter and year-end financial close tasks for subledger Accounts Payables
Actively participating in the creation of work instructions and guidelines or constantly monitoring, updating and communicating them

Skills and attributes for success

Candidate should be highly motivated, interested and committed
Excellent interpersonal, client service, communication, organizational skills
Ability to work as a Team player in a virtual global organization respecting international cultures
Willingness to extend his/her knowledge and expertise
Knowledge of data analysis would be desirable
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively

To qualify for the role, you must have

Excellent knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
Confident using technology (including MS Excel, Teams, Outlook)
Ability to prioritize day-to-day decisions and work assignments, to meet deadlines
Proficient at communicating objectives, and guiding internal clients to successful resolutions
Adept at working as part of a larger team; demonstrating a positive work attitude and commitment to excellence

Ideally, you'll also have

Ability to prioritize workload and deliver outputs within strict deadlines.
Strong communication and partnering skills with people of all levels of the firm

High service orientation and safe and friendly demeanour when dealing with customers and colleagues
Proactivity and implementation strength
Solid knowledge of spoken and written English and German
Good SAP knowledge and confident handling of modern office communication tools
