Role Description The AI Implementation Strategist is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities to apply AI solutions across distribution, trading, sales, marketing, and operations to improve efficiency and decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include assessing business processes, designing AI use cases, coordinating with technical teams or vendors to implement AI tools, and monitoring performance and outcomes.
The strategist will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, develop implementation roadmaps, and ensure smooth integration of AI solutions into existing workflows. The role also involves documenting best practices, training internal teams on new AI-enabled processes, and staying current with relevant AI trends in retail, cosmetics, and supply chain.
Qualifications
Strong skills in AI strategy, solution design, and implementation planning for business operations and supply chain.
Ability to analyze business processes, map data flows, and translate operational challenges into AI use cases.
Experience coordinating with data scientists, software engineers, or external vendors to deploy AI or automation tools.
Proficiency in using analytics and reporting tools to measure impact, track KPIs, and optimize AI-driven initiatives.
Solid understanding of distribution, trading, or FMCG/cosmetics sector operations is highly beneficial.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear business terms.
Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks independently.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree or specialized AI certification is an advantage.
Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to ethical, responsible use of AI technologies.
