Airfreight Procurement & Operations Executive

We are looking for candidates for the position of Airfreight Procurement & Operations Executive to join our team in HCM.
RESPONSIBLES:
• Support Air Freight Manager to take charge of space and procurement in aligned with Country procurement strategy.
• Book and liaise with Airlines to obtain best possible rates/outcomes for Geodis VN.
• Support sales team by offering the best airfreight rate.
• Checking invoice, debit note related to airfreight department.
• Support and back up for the Airfreight operations relating to Air Import/ Export activities:
o Mainly liaise closely with Airlines and arrange the bookings with best rate.
o Handle shipment as per SOP, Handling Instructions
o Receive booking from customer
o Book with Airlines
o Send confirmed booking to customer
o Issue HBL/HAWB
o Have Airline issued MBL/MAWB
o Send pre-advice to Overseas Agent
o Arrange trucking and warehouse requirements (if request)
o Monitor and confirm Departure/ Arrival of freight
o Enter all charges and profit shares into the system
o Close file, pass invoices and credit memos
o Post information on system
• Regular work with House Airway bill, Freight Cargo Receipt, Delivery Order, Manifest, Amend manifest.
• Assist supplier and customer queries
• Arrange collections
• Contribute to development of team
• Assure timely & accurately billing and costing as per company policy
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the National Airfreight Manager.
