- The ASM is responsible for managing and developing distributors and the GT sales team in zone 1B and other areas. This role ensures sales growth, market coverage, and brand visibility in line with company objectives.
- Sales Planning & Execution: Plan, organize, and lead the salesman to achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Develop and execute sales and distribution strategies, ensuring alignment with company policies and pricing guidelines. Implement promotional and sampling programs effectively to drive sales and visibility.
- Distributor Management: Manage and develop distributors within the assigned area. Monitor performance, stock levels, and product circulation to ensure smooth operations. Propose improvement or replacement plans when necessary and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with distributors and retailers.
- Team Management & Development: Supervise, train, and motivate the sales team to enhance productivity and execution quality. Conduct field coaching, performance evaluations, and skills development programs. Manage sales operations through the Distribution Management System (DMS).
- Market Development & Coverage: Expand the customer base by opening new outlets, strengthening key channels, and increasing product penetration. Conduct regular market visits to assess sales performance, trade execution, and relationships with distributors and retailers.
- Market Insights & Reporting: Collect and analyze market and competitor information to identify opportunities and risks. Prepare periodic reports on business performance, market share, and distributor efficiency for management review.
- Brand & Compliance: Ensure consistent brand image and positioning through effective sales and promotional activities. Comply with company standards, processes, and ethical sales practices.
- Other Duties: Perform other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time.
