The Job
We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Associate Product Owner (APO) to join our team to drive a product development based on Google Cloud, Google Workspace and Gemini AI. Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of experience after graduation as a Business Analyst in software or enduser projects and aspire to advance into a Product Owner (PO) role in a few years. The APO will bridge business needs and technical execution, working with the businesses to define the roadmap, refine requirements, and translate them into actionable development tasks that deliver measurable business value.
Experience with web or mobile business applications in cloud environments is highly preferred, along with a solid understanding of web, mobile, and database technologies and the stages of modern application development.
Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Product Owner, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders,and technical teams to ensure the successful design and delivery of solutions that align with business goals.
- Product Backlog Management: Work with the Businesses to define, refine, and prioritize backlog items (user stories, features, epics) based on business value, technical feasibility, and alignment with product strategy.
- Customer and Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the voice of the customer and business stakeholders, ensuring the development team fully understands the rationale ("why") and objectives ("what") behind product requirements.
- Requirement Elicitation and Definition: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into clear and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria suitable for development.
- Solution Validation: Support evaluation and validation of product solutions, ensuring proposals align with the product vision, business goals, and technical feasibility- particularly within cloud-based environments.
- Acceptance and Quality Assurance: Coordinate or conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify that completed features meet agreed acceptance criteria, business objectives, and quality standards.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including feature specifications, user stories, process flows, and user manuals, ensuring alignment across teams and transparency in project execution
Your Skills and Experience
- You are a graduate in Business Management, Information Technology, or Business Intelligence/Analytics with 2-3 years of experience after graduation in business analysis, product development, or automation projects-whether in a software company or end-user environment.
- You have a solid understanding of web, mobile, and database technologies, as well as cloud environments and how they support modern business solutions.
- You have strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex processes into clear, actionable requirements.
- You bring excellent communication and documentation skills-both written and verbal- allowing you to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- You are fluent in Vietnamese and English (candidates with IELTS certification are preferred) and are eager to learn, grow, and take ownership in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
