Role Description
As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, commissioning electrical and automation systems for conveyor systems. You will work closely with the Mechanical Engineering team, customers to develop reliable automation solutions, ensure that systems operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
Your Responsibilities will Include
Design and install electrical and control systems for conveyor systems.
Program, configure, and calibrate automation equipment such as PLCs, HMIs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), sensors, and other devices.
Integrate conveyor systems with other automation systems within the production line.
Prepare electrical drawings and control panel designs, and select suitable equipment in accordance with technical standards.
Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical and automation system issues during operation.
Coordinate with the Mechanical Engineering team to ensure the system operates reliably, smoothly, and in synchronization.
Participate in site surveys, propose technical solutions, and support the implementation of new projects.
Provide operation guidance and hand over completed systems to customers.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.
Requirements
Bachelor's or College degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD or equivalent.
Knowledge of PLC/HMI programming is an advantage.
Basic experience with automated control systems; experience working with mechanical production lines or conveyor systems is preferred.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical documentation.
