JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Structural Design:
• Assist in designing ship structures - hull and foundations - at the concept, basic, and functional design levels.
• Perform structural calculations using empirical formulae from Classification Regulations as well as first principles.
• Assist in preparing structural drawing packages for submission to Classification Societies, under the guidance of the Project Manager and senior engineers.
• Assist in preparing weight estimates with a focus on structural weight calculations.
2. Collaboration:
• Work effectively within team environments, both within the office and across global teams.
• Share ideas, concerns, and solutions openly with team members.
• Complete assignments on time, adapting to changes in goals or priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
3. Problem-Solving:
• Analyze and reflect on observations and experiences to assist in solving problems.
4. Health and Safety Compliance:
• Comply with the laws and regulations of labor safety and hygiene related to works and assigned tasks.
• Use and maintain the Personal Protective Equipment, working tools, safety appliances and equipment in the workplace, and are responsible for any loss or damage.
• Report immediately to a person in charge when discovering risks that may lead to work related accidents, diseases or poisoning and danger. Give first aid and take corrective action to prevent work related accidents as required by the company.
• Properly participate in OHS training courses conducted by the Company, included training before working with machinery, equipment which need to apply strict requirements on safety.
• Properly participate periodic medical check-up and occupational disease examination organized by employer.
• Get advice from and follow doctor's instruction if treatment is required.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Structural, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline.
• Experience: 0-3 years of experience in a shipbuilding company or relevant industry.
• Technical Expertise:
• Basic knowledge of Classification Society Rules, Industry Regulations, Codes, and other relevant standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (2D Drafting), and 3D Modelling software.
Competencies:
• Communication: Effectively conveys key information in a clear and timely manner.
• Language: Possess basic reading and writing skills in English, with a proactive attitude and strong motivation to improve communication skills through practice and company-provided training.
• Adaptability: Adjusts behavior and approaches based on the situation.
• Willing to be mentored and coached by senior engineer.
Other requirements:
• Legally authorized to work in the job location.
• Willing to travel to North America for short-term assignments.

JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Design and Development:
- Design and develop low voltage switchboards in compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and project reports.
- Ensure timely creation and release of the BOM to meet manufacturing targets.
2. Project Management and Coordination:
- Collaborate with project manager and other stakeholders to define project scope and requirements.
- Establish project plan based on engineering hours budget.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team.
- Report progress on project.
3. Other Duties:
- Follow the Class approvals and product certifications for assigned projects.
- Carry out the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) together with the classification society and, if applicable, the customer.
- Stay updated on rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards related to LV switchboard design.
REQUIREMENTS
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar Engineering discipline.
• Technical Knowledge:
- Proven experience in projects, particularly in LV switchboard design.
- Proficient in design CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Independent, proactive, structured, resourceful and eager to learn.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Vietnamese.

1. Quality Inspection:
- Take internal inspection with production to ensure systems are following approved drawings and/ or standards.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections to identify non-conformities.
2. Coordination:
- Co-ordinate with Project Lead QC and related departments to address comments.
- Work with the Classification Society, Ship Owner to clear comments/ punches.
3. Reporting:
- Report directly to Quality Manager all issues concerning the project in charge.
REQUIREMENTS
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or General engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control inspection, ship building, or a related field.
• Technical Knowledge:
o Understanding of Machinery, Piping, Outfitting installation standards and testing, etc.
o Strong technical knowledge in Machinery & Pipe systems and shipbuilding technology.
o Knowledge of National and International Rules, Regulations of Classification Societies and Authorities in shipbuilding.
• Skills & Competencies:
o English written and spoken are mandatory.
o Basic computer knowledge is mandatory.
