Role Description This full-time, on-site Backend Developer Specialist role is based in Hanoi. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and services that support web and enterprise systems.
The Backend Developer
Specialist will optimize APIs and databases for performance, reliability, and security, while collaborating with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. The role also includes troubleshooting and debugging backend issues, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation and continuous improvement of development practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, including API design, database integration, and server-side logic.
Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills, including experience with development lifecycles, testing, and deployment.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming concepts.
Candidates should possess familiarity with Front-End Development to effectively integrate backend services with user-facing components.
Experience with common backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, [protected info], Python, or similar) is beneficial.
Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control systems, and RESTful or other web service architectures is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment are required.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
