The Job

Responsible for ensuring that changes are technically sound, scalable and secure in line with the rest of the platform and of a high quality
Work collaboratively with the team to generate ideas and approaches and take accountability for the engineering output of the team
Major contributor to company overall architectural direction
Track the progress being made towards the wider goals of the team, and Product Manager, along with prioritising technical streams to ensure tech debt is being managed
Ensure that the team is continuously improving by reviewing processes and practices ensuring that we uphold our common responsibilities and principles
Provide continuous support and guidance to less senior colleagues through regular coaching activities and support them in fulfilling their personal development plans

Your Skills and Experience

Experience in writing testable code, good unit/integration tests
Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as code, and container technology (e.g. Docker)
Strong knowledge of Database (RDBS) or NoSQL
Strong knowledge of MQ (Kafka, SQS) and event-driven architecture
Commercial experience in Microservices and Serverless architecture
Very good at English because you will work with global team directly
Be happy to coach, mentor and train less senior colleagues
