Job Purpose
The Branch Manager will hold full P&L accountability for the Hanoi branch. The primary focus is to aggressively drive revenue growth (Sales) across the Northern market while ensuring seamless, cost-effective, and high-quality supply chain execution (Operations).
Key Responsibilities
1.
Business Development & Sales Command (50%)
• Strategic Planning: Formulate and execute commercial strategies to expand the company's market share in Hanoi and Northern Vietnam.
• Revenue Growth: Own the branch's sales targets (KPIs) and actively drive the team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
• Key Account Management: Personally approach, negotiate, and close deals with large B2B clients, factories, manufacturers, and major shippers.

Sales Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and track the performance of the sales team across all services (cross-border freight, domestic trucking, warehousing, and customs clearance).
• Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor movements, and local regulations to optimize pricing and service offerings.
2. Operational Excellence & Efficiency (30%)
• End-to-End Supervision: Oversee all branch operations including Freight forwarding, Project Logistics, Contract Logistics (Warehouse/DC management), Transportation (Fleet & Last-mile), and Customs Brokerage. Monitor branch KPIs and continuously improve operational efficiency.
• SLA Compliance: Ensure all operational activities strictly meet or exceed client Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Act as the final escalation point for critical operational issues.
• Cost & Process Optimization: Control the branch's operational expenses (OPEX). Implement continuous improvement initiatives to minimize waste and maximize profit margins.
• Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and maintain strong partnerships with local sub-contractors, trucking companies, and logistics vendors in the Northern region.
3. General Management & People Leadership (20%)
• Talent Development: Recruit, train, and build a high-performing branch culture across Sales, Operations, and Customer Service departments.
• Financial Control: Manage the branch budget, approve internal expenditure, and ensure timely invoicing and debt collection.
• Reporting: Deliver regular reports on sales pipelines, operational metrics, and financial performance directly to HQ.
• Compliance Control: Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Job Requirements
• Experience: Over 15 years'working experience in freight forwarding industries and Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar leadership role (Branch Manager, Country
Sales Manager) within 3PL / Freight Forwarding.
• Network: Possess an established B2B client portfolio and a strong network of logistics vendors in Northern Vietnam.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Core Competencies:
o Strong hunter mindset with a proven track record of closing high-value logistics contracts.
o Deep understanding of warehousing operations, domestic transportation, and North-border customs regulations.
• Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken English
• Soft Skills: Highly sense of responsibility, decisive leadership, crisis management, and excellent stress tolerance under strict KPI pressure.
