Role Description The Business Analyst Trainee is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role supports senior business analysts in gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping business processes, and analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement in client operations.
The trainee contributes to preparing reports, presentations, and process documentation, and assists in workshops and meetings with internal teams and clients to clarify needs and translate them into actionable specifications. Daily tasks include conducting research, supporting testing and validation of proposed solutions, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure alignment between business goals and implementation plans. The position offers structured mentorship and practical exposure to AI-native operations, ERP systems, and data-driven decision-making in complex enterprise environments.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based recommendations.
Foundational knowledge or training in business analysis, including requirement gathering and documentation.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders, participating in meetings, and preparing clear reports and presentations.
Understanding of business processes and business requirements, with an interest in process mapping and optimization.
Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
Comfort working with spreadsheets and basic data tools; familiarity with ERP or cloud platforms is an advantage.
Ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, AI-focused environment.
Proficiency in English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken, is highly beneficial.
