POSITION SUMMARY
The
Business Development Manager Vietnam will report to the General Director and be responsible for developing new business leads, channeling opportunities into the pipeline, managing proposals and helping Systra Vietnam growth and gain market share through increased order intake. The role will work with all parts of the business to develop client relationships, gather intelligence, and form and cultivate strategic partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
LEADERSHIP
• Reports to the Vietnam General Director (GD)
• Is a key point of contact for Systra in the Vietnamese market to channel, guide opportunities and lead proposals
• Strategically connected to clients, partners and regularly seen as an external leader of Systra Vietnam in the market.
• Support complex large scale client engagements
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Works with Vietnam GD on executing the strategy for partnership development.
• Manages strategic pursuits through to submission.
• Develop and attain accurate quarterly and annual revenue forecasts for every key account.
• Utilize strategic agility to identify and solve problems for specific client business
• Educate clients and influence to sell strategic and creative solutions.
• Identifies appropriate partners to work with and cultivates key relationships
• Leads our local business development strategies.
• Represent Systra to local clients and external stakeholders to grow brand and market share.
• Foster a culture of client excellence and relationship management.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & PROPOSALS
• Support the Business Development activities, including Key Account Management, and engage with key clients, partners and supply chain when required.
• Follows Systra processes to identify leads, generates pursuits and submit winning proposals.
• Assess and lead Bid Management strategy / Bid Proposal development for key proposals in Philippines, and potentially outside as might be required
• Manage and challenge bid teams to achieve optimum quality and competitiveness of bids.
• Ensure the review of bid proposal is carried out in accordance with the Asia BU and Group requirements.
• Manage governance over bid management and production and enforce quality checks and reviews, including helping bid teams prepare for CDO/CDE's.
• Run Bid Management Meetings and prepare reporting content (C-View) for opportunities follow up in Vietnam
• Run independent lessons learnt workshops on large pursuits.
• 12-15 years' experience minimum in Business and Commercial Development/client facing roles, preferably in transportation market
• Master's degree in engineering, or Bachelor with strong experience
• Proven exposure to large transportation Projects in Engineering or Consultancy, in both bidding and Project development
Working hours:
• 44hrs/week - Monday to half-day Saturday - 8:30 AM - 05:30 PM
