I - Lead Generation
• Generated a pipeline of qualified leads by researching prospective clients and new markets on platforms including ABiQ and LinkedIn
• Generate business leads and follow up on sales opportunities under guidance.
• Support the sales team in acquiring new customers and upselling products or services to existing clients.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to assist in developing new business opportunities
II - Market Strategy
• Assist in monitoring and analyzing local construction trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
• Focus aggressively on developing and expanding our export markets, specifically targeting Sri Lanka, the Middle East, and Ghana
• Attend or support in organizing exhibitions, webinars, and client visits when required
III - Relationship Management
• Help build relationships with contractors,
designers, and industry bodies (e.g., ICCC) to uncover new opportunities.
• Support maintenance of productive relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
• Attend conferences, business meetings, and industry events to gather insights on new projects.
• Assist in arranging client meetings and conducting product demonstrations or presenting new Pebsteel products.
IV - Reporting and Documentation
• Maintain accurate sales records, customer data, and sales pipeline reports.
• Prepare periodic performance reports for management.
• Participate in training and support team skill development.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 05 years of sales/business development experience in the construction,
steel structures, or Pre-Engineered Buildings industry.
• Strong knowledge of pre-engineered buildings/steel structures and construction processes.
• Proficient in English communication, capable of interacting with foreign clients, partners.
• Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Customer-oriented with analytical thinking.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
