Purchasing:
Source and purchase fasteners (bolts, nuts, screws, washers, etc.) from reliable suppliers, ensuring the best pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
Negotiate prices, terms, and lead times with suppliers to ensure cost-effective
purchasing and timely delivery.
Supplier Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with current suppliers.
Handle any discrepancies or quality issues with suppliers and resolve them in a timely manner.
Maintain supplier database.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with vendors and international cross-functional teams for new product development.
Maintain accurate records of orders, supplier communications, and inventory levels.
Monitor inventory levels and re-order fasteners as needed to avoid shortages or overstock.
Manage repeat buy daily transactions.
Logistics and Delivery:
Work closely with logistics teams to ensure fasteners are delivered on time and in compliance with packaging and shipping requirements.
Manage lead time, transportation, and on-time delivery.
Project Execution:
Execute projects from US/Taiwan teams and resolve related issues.
Cost and Contract Management.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
Industry Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, material standards, and supply chain developments to recommend improvements or cost-saving initiatives.
Experience in the fasteners/metal/manufacturing industry is preferred.
