Position: Wildlife Crime Unit Coordinator

Responsibilities
As an ENV Wildlife Crime Fighter, you will receive reports from the public of wildlife violations at restaurants, markets, residences, and online. You will address these violations through collaboration with authorities. It is imperative to track open cases online through ENV's Wildlife Crime Incident Tracking database. To maintain updated records of wildlife crime and authority response, you will need to report results. For each case, you will experience the feeling of success knowing you played a key role in stopping crime, rescuing animals, and saving wildlife from sure death in the hands of restaurant owners, sellers, and traffickers.
Main duties:
• Supervise staff of Wildlife Crime Unit (WCU) to ensure that overall performance of the team meets requirements and expectation.
• Supervise the documentation, tracking, and management of all cases under the WCU
• Communicate with the manager
• Conduct daily/weekly reviews of cases to ensure progress and resolution
• Manage ENV's supplemental document system
• Manage routine administrative duties of the WCU
• Coordinate the training of new staff
• Complete other duties and assignments as specified by the Manager
