Chief Accountant - Hanoi

An exciting Chief Accountant job has become available at one of the most prestigious aviation companies in Vietnam, based in Hanoi.
Description
* Ensure timely and accurate closing and submission of accounts according to local and group requirements
* Ensure adequate control in place and continuously strive for improvements across the finance function
* Manage cashflow and treasury function
* Ensure tax compliance - familiarity with both VAS and IFRS
* Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement new systems
* Prepare financial statements including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and quarterly budget estimates
* Train and lead the accounting team and support other departments that require accounting services
Profile
The ideal candidate will have had at least 5+ years of experience in MNCs in a management role as a Chief Accountant or in senior Treasury roles within large organizations.
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting or other relevant disciplines
* SAP experience is required
* Fluency in English is essential
* Strong attention to detail but also have a desire to understand the big picture
* Transparent, detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving mindset
* Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel
