About the role
Craftex is a German-invested manufacturer in Vietnam that makes sewn medical and orthopedic textile products for customers in Germany. Our accounting is currently outsourced. As Chief Accountant you bring it in-house, then own the books, the close, tax and statutory reporting. Management is international, so most daily communication is in English.
Responsibilities
1. Take over all accounting processes from the external provider and run them in-house.
2. Own the monthly close and prepare monthly financial statements under VAS, plus management reporting for the shareholders.
3. Prepare and file all tax returns (VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT) and the annual finalization, including our CIT incentive.
4. Handle export-related accounting with the import-export team: customs, import duty and VAT refunds.
5. Own inventory and production cost accounting: standard costs, valuation and variance analysis.
6. Coordinate the annual statutory audit and tax inspections.
7. Set up internal controls and lead and develop the accounting team as Craftex grows.

Yêu cầu
Must have
1. Vietnamese Chief Accountant Certificate.
2. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or auditing.
3. At least 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years as chief accountant or accounting manager.
4. Manufacturing experience with inventory and production cost accounting, preferably in an export-oriented FDI company.
5. Strong knowledge of VAS, Vietnamese tax law and customs rules for export manufacturing.
6. Good spoken and written English. You explain accounting issues clearly in meetings and in writing.
7. Solution-oriented. When a rule or a problem blocks the business, you find a compliant way forward and propose options with a recommendation.
8. Fluent Vietnamese, spoken and written, at a level for dealing with tax and customs authorities.
Nice to have
1. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or another ERP.
2. Experience with European parent companies or IFRS/HGB reporting.
3. ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
