The Role
EMA is looking for a curious and proactive Content Creator Intern who enjoys writing, exploring social media, and turning ideas into content that connects with people.
In this role, you will help develop and grow EMA's own media channels, contributing to content research, ideation, creation, and publishing. Working closely with the team, you will explore topics, stories, and formats that attract audiences and keep them coming back.
This role suits someone who is eager to experiment, open to feedback, and interested in how media channels build an engaged audience. You will also receive guidance on using AI tools to support your creative process, from exploring ideas to producing and refining content.
Key Responsibilities
Content Research & Ideation
● Get to know the editorial direction, core topics, audience interests, and tone of voice of each EMA media channel.
● Research relevant topics, social trends, and cultural conversations to identify stories and content opportunities.
● Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for content series, recurring formats, and timely posts.
● Explore how ideas can work across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
Content Creation & Execution
● Draft social posts, captions, short video scripts, and interactive content with guidance from the team.
● Develop clear, engaging stories that fit each channel's editorial direction and audience.
● Collaborate with designers and other creative team members to bring content ideas to life.
● Assist with basic filming, editing, and content production according to your skills and project needs.
● Refine content based on feedback and check facts, sources, clarity, and consistency before submitting work for approval.
Channel Development & Audience Engagement
● Support content calendars and publishing schedules across EMA's own media channels.
● Suggest content series, discussion topics, and interactive formats that encourage audience participation and repeat engagement.
● Monitor comments and audience responses to understand what people find useful, entertaining, or worth discussing.
● Compile basic performance results and help identify learnings for future content.
● Contribute ideas for testing new topics, formats, and approaches to support channel growth.
AI & Creative Exploration
● Learn to use AI tools for brainstorming, research support, outlining, drafting, and exploring visual or video ideas.
● Verify information and refine AI outputs to ensure accuracy, originality, and relevance to each channel.
● Apply your own judgement and creative input throughout the process to produce content that offers value to its audience.
● Explore useful tools and share learnings with the team while following company guidelines on confidentiality and copyright.
Requirements
● A final year student or recent graduate in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Languages, or a related field. Applicants from other disciplines with a strong interest in content creation are also welcome.
● Strong Vietnamese writing skills, with clear expression and the ability to adapt tone and style to different topics and audiences.
● An active interest in social media, digital culture, and what makes people follow, engage with, and return to a media channel.
● The ability to research information, organise ideas, and turn them into clear, engaging content.
● Familiarity with AI tools or a willingness to learn through training and practical experience. Prior AI expertise is not required.
● A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a responsible approach to tasks and deadlines.
● Openness to feedback and a willingness to collaborate, experiment, and improve.
● No formal work experience is required. Personal projects, university assignments, student club activities, and independently managed social channels are all welcome.
Nice to Have
● Basic skills in Canva, CapCut, photography, or video production.
● Experience creating content for or managing a social media page, personal channel, or student publication.
● Confidence appearing on camera or supporting filming and content shoots.
● An interest in content performance and using audience feedback to improve ideas.
What You'll Gain
● Practical experience building and growing EMA's own media channels, from initial ideas to published content.
● Opportunities to develop recurring content series and see how audiences respond over time.
● Guidance and constructive feedback from the team, including practical training in using AI tools for content creation.
● Experience in research, writing, production coordination, publishing, and content performance evaluation.
● Opportunities to build your portfolio through published work and clearly demonstrate your contribution.
● An internship allowance.
How to Apply
Please send your CV and a few examples of your work. These can include written pieces, videos, personal social channels, university projects, or content created for student organisations.
For each selected example, briefly explain the context and your contribution. If you used AI tools, tell us how you used them and how you developed or refined the final result.
