About the Role
As a Control Engineer, you will contribute to building and optimizing automation systems for modern manufacturing lines. This role focuses on PLC programming, robot integration, and electrical system design to enable high-performance production equipment and support new technology implementation in the factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical control systems, PLC programs, robot applications, and automation solutions for new manufacturing equipment
- Drive machine development from concept to production, including device selection, system design, and collaboration with suppliers
- Lead machine build, debugging, trial runs, and mass production readiness to ensure stable and efficient operations
- Troubleshoot automation equipment issues and implement effective solutions during trial and pre-production phases
- Improve machine performance, productivity, and cost efficiency through continuous engineering optimization
- Create and maintain technical documentation including wiring diagrams, operation instructions, BOMs, and I/O mapping
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Process Engineering) to enhance system capability and reliability
- Research and apply new automation technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage in manufacturing
Yêu cầu
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics,
Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automation, control engineering, or machine design in manufacturing environment
- Experience in high-speed automation equipment, vision systems, or microcontroller programming
- Hands-on experience in PLC programming, robot programming, and automation system development
- Ability to read and create technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and engineering documentation
- Good command of English communication in a technical working environment
- Japanese communication skill is a plus
