1. Equipment Setup & Calibration
Mobilize, interface, and perform pre-deployment calibrations for subsea CP inspection systems:
Contact CP Probes (Tip / Contact systems).
Proximity / Non-contact CP systems.
Field Gradient (FG) / Electric Field Gradient systems.
2. Offshore Survey Operations & Data Acquisition
Monitor and record real-time CP data using integrated survey software and video overlay systems.
Perform periodic reference electrode calibration checks (Ag/AgCl reference cell tests).
Conduct immediate quality checks on incoming field data, evaluating protection potentials, field gradient spikes.
3. Data Analysis & Troubleshooting
Identify pipeline anomalies, including under-protection and over-protection zones.
Correlate CP measurement data with CP probe, remote cell, CP POD, and KP/DCC positioning coordinates.
4. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR) detailing CP survey coverage and operational status for the CP Party Chief.
Process raw survey data to generate continuous CP potential profiles and gradient plots.
Draft field engineering reports and contribute data to the final Pipeline Integrity & Inspection Report.
