Creative A&R Executive - Music Publishing & Production

Role Description
This role serves as the connection point between songs, producers, songwriters, and music collaboration opportunities with artists, labels, studios, agencies, and DAO Music's partners.The position focuses on discovering, pitching, and developing music products that align with market demand, while coordinating with creative teams to bring the right songs to the right artists, projects, and timing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Music Brief & Creative Direction
Work with artists, labels, or partners to understand music direction and project needs
Propose suitable music concepts and creative directions
Monitor music trends in Vietnam and Asia to stay updated on the market and support creative development
2. A&R & Song Pitching
Search for and connect with suitable producers and songwriters for each project
Pitch and introduce songs, demos, and creative ideas to artists, labels, or partners
Propose collaboration opportunities between artists, producers, and songwriters within DAO's network in Vietnam and internationally
Build and maintain relationships with artists, managers, producers, songwriters, labels, and creative partners to identify opportunities for exploiting and developing the company's music catalogue
3. Project & Studio Coordination
Coordinate with studios, producers, and relevant parties to ensure project timelines are met
Track production progress and support the execution of creative projects
Support the organization of songwriting camps, writing sessions, and other creative activities
4. Catalogue & Data Management
Manage and update information on contributors and usage rights of songs/demos for pitching and commercial exploitation
Coordinate with the legal/operations team on matters related to metadata and exploitation rights
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in the music industry, label, publishing, artist management, or creative production
Good music taste and understanding of Vietnamese/Asian music market trends
Strong communication, pitching, presentation, and relationship-building skills within the industry
Proactive, agile, and relationship-oriented in a creative working environment
Ability to manage tasks and project information in a systematic manner
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Weekends off
