Role Overview
StoryCo is looking for Creative Story Producers to join our globally distributed team. In this role, you will lead creative efforts across audio, video, and art to transform existing web comics into engaging video/motion comics using the StoryCo platform. You'll be responsible for setting the creative direction of each adaptation while ensuring the integrity of the original work is preserved in its new multimedia format.
This position is ideal for a storyteller with strong project management skills - someone who thrives on collaboration, can guide multiple creative teams, and delivers high-quality work on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Creative Vision: Define and lead the overall creative approach for adapting globally celebrated comics into animated videos-setting direction across visuals, audio, pacing, and casting across StoryCo's projects.
Lead a Multidisciplinary Team: Manage a cross-functional team of 5-7 art editors, animators, and sound designers. Align their contributions with the creative vision while ensuring projects stay on track and meet high-quality standards.
Drive Execution & Project Management: Own timelines, team planning, and workload management. You're responsible for your team's quarterly output-delivering outstanding creative work, on time, every time.
Direct Voice & Audio Integration: Select the best voice actor's recordings from StoryCo's casting platform and time them precisely to build pacing guidelines for the animation team.
Build Scalable Creative Systems: Design and refine production processes that improve speed, clarity, and quality across all multimedia adaptations, collaborating with both the production team and tech teams to refine in-house tools and workflows.
Ensure Creative Excellence: Act as a quality gatekeeper - review all team output to maintain consistency in tone, pacing, and visual style, and continuously raise the creative bar across projects.
