• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive volume, revenue, and market share growth.
• Manage and expand key accounts including BCOs and strategic forwarders.
• Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to ensure KPIs and business targets are achieved.
• Drive new
business development and identify emerging market opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, freight rates, and trade dynamics.
• Work closely with pricing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure service excellence.
• Prepare sales forecasts, management reports, and market intelligence updates for principals.
• Represent S5 and liner principals in high-level customer negotiations and industry meetings.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Foreign Trade, Maritime Studies, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in container shipping, with at least 2-3 years at managerial level.
• Strong knowledge of shipping line commercial operations; experience in Intra-Asia, Mediterranean, or long-haul trades is an advantage.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing high-value accounts.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
