The Job
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst / Bi Analyst to join our team and help transform data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, generating reports, and providing business intelligence to inform decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with data visualization tools and statistical analysis. This role report to Data & Analytics Manager / Head of Business Technology Solution
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various departments to identify business requirements and align them with relevant data sources (Core, System, and external data) to uncover data-driven problems and opportunities.
- Propose initiatives and collaborate with developers to implement events within customer journey, enabling data tracking across digital products (eKYC, Online Trading...).
- Conduct analytics, perform scenario analysis, and use dashboard visualizations to uncover and utilize data insights (storytelling), providing actionable business recommendations and solutions.
- Be involved in a part of data platform development process, including the ETL process, with a focus in modern BI solutions and the automated processes for reconciliation reports.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams / project teams to initiate, design, develop and deliver datamart, automated dashboard and report for end users.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to answer specific business questions and assist in strategic planning.
- Reporting and other tasks relevant to data analytics domain knowledge.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Quantitative and Computational Finance or equivalent domain.
- 3+ years of experience in Data Analyst / BI Analyst position, including at least 1 years with Power BI/Tableau/Looker.
- Previous experience in a business or industry-specific setting (e.g., finance, retail, healthcare).
- Experience in business intelligence techniques and willing to learn new technologies.
- Proficient in SQL and database experience (PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Proficient in one of programming languages such as Python (or R, Matlab, VBA...) is a plus.
- Knowledge in Financial Products and Risk Management is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills, honesty, dignity, and responsibility.
- Precision, passion, open-mindedness, and quick self-learning skills in big data, as well as enthusiasm for solving business problems.
