We are responsible for the design and development of core product solutions that deliver value to our customers and employer branding teams. As a Data Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing and extending datasets and data models to support the execution of our vision.

What you will do

• Acquire datasets that align with business needs
• Develop algorithms and libraries to ingest, prepare and transform data into useful, actionable information from a variety of data sources
• Build, test, and maintain scalable database pipeline architectures
• Create new data validation methods and data analysis tools
• Load and manage data in our data warehouse and data lake.
• Develop infrastructure to support ML model training, testing and deployment
• Develop ETL/data engineering pipelines to support machine learning workflows
• Automate data pipelines using CI/CD practices.
• Monitor data pipeline performance and capacity utilisation.

• A minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Science using Python
• A computer science or equivalent at a Bachelor's level or higher qualification
• Strong data pipeline and machine learning pipeline experience with big data tools
• Experience with NLP (1+ years) and ML architectures are ideal but not required
• Proven software engineering experience in API development
• Proven experience in working with database systems
• Great communication skills and confidence in sharing and presenting the ideas and learnings to both senior management team and peer colleagues.
• Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative team player with a blend of hungry, humble and smart
