Role Summary

The Data Governance Executive will support the Head of Data in implementing and operating the enterprise data governance framework. This role will ensure data quality, consistency, compliance, and responsible usage across business units. The executive will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to implement policies, standards, and controls that align with regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and enforcement of data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support the development of the enterprise-wide Master Data Management (MDM) principles, processes, and tools.
• Work closely with business units and IT to define master data domains, data hierarchies, and ownership models.
• Oversee creation and maintenance of the data catalog, business glossary, and data lineage documentation.
• Monitor and report on data quality metrics for critical master data elements (e.g., customer, product, store, vendor).
• Lead data stewardship efforts to ensure consistent and accurate master data across systems.
• Executing data cleansing, enrichment, deduplication, and harmonization.
• Ensure data compliance with privacy regulations (PDPA, GDPR), internal policies, and audit requirements.
• Participate in cross-functional projects involving data integration, ERP, POS, CDP, and enterprise data platforms.
• Promote awareness and adoption of data governance and MDM best practices across the organization.

Must-Have

• 3+ years of experience in data governance, master data management, or data stewardship roles.
• Strong knowledge of MDM concepts, data lifecycle management, and master data domain definitions.
• Experience defining and governing master data (e.g., customer, product, vendor, store) in ERP/POS & CDP platforms.
• Understanding of data quality frameworks, metadata management, and governance tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., Vietnam PDPA, GDPR) related to data handling.
• Ability to collaborate with IT and business teams to align data governance with operational needs.
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with MDM or governance platforms such as Informatica MDM, Microsoft Purview
• Understanding of Azure Data Services, Databricks, and ERP/POS & CDP data integration.
• Background in retail, F&B, or multi-brand consumer businesses.
