POSITION OVERVIEW
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD to build and operate scalable cloud-native platforms. You will work closely with development teams to automate infrastructure, optimize deployment processes, and ensure system reliability, security, and performance.
Responsibilities
Design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure.
Build and maintain Kubernetes environments (EKS or self-managed).
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Collaborate with engineering teams on cloud-native and microservices architectures.
Monitor system performance and ensure reliability through logging, metrics, and alerting.
Apply security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Participate in Agile development processes and technical discussions.
Create and maintain technical documentation.

About the Role

JOB REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, EKS).
Solid Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting experience.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization.
Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
Good understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
Scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.).
Good English communication skills.
Willing to work onsite in Tokyo, Japan
JLPT N2 certificate is required for visa application purposes.
Nice to Have
Experience working with Japanese clients or onsite projects.
Knowledge of GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux).
Experience with DevSecOps and security best practices.
Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-region architectures.
AWS, CKA, or CKAD certifications.
