Scope of Responsibility:

Direct Procurement Supervisor is responsible for effectively handling the Procurement activity for specific materials or groups of materials or services, and for developing collaborative partnerships with both CP colleagues and suppliers. The primary accountabilities of the role include subsidiary Procurement financial performance, Customer Service, Quality and managing supplier relationship effectively.

Core Responsibilities:

Collaborate with suppliers' sales, technical and other functional groups as well as Global Engineering, Technology, Marketing, Quality and Finance functions to enforce Purchasing policies, resolve issues, align service, quality standards and financial strategies
Ensure achievement of the Purchasing Key Performance Indicators (critical metrics) and working with the entire Procurement & End To End teams to ensure accurate critical metrics levels (Funding The Growth (FTG), Spend track, Vendor Scorecard, Risk Management, Legal contract coverage, Purchase Price Variances, etc...)
Facilitate and develop the Supplier Relation management program
Develops detailed understanding of market structure and drivers for materials, with risk management overview, and finds opportunities and threats for the future
Develops and implement savings projects and tracking files, implements FTG projects
Drives efforts in using "e-tools" (auctions, e-RFP, etc.) to help drive savings, simplification and standardization programs
Implements effective negotiations for the specific Raw and packaging materials purchases
Works with CP attorneys and with suppliers on signing of contracts, ensures that all major materials are covered with a legal contract
Develops Material Sourcing Strategy and Risk Management platforms for single source, single plant materials
Continues to improve oneself by way of learning, training, best practice sharing
Leverages and applies Google suit to improve digital collaboration and automated working processes (digital procurement)
Becomes Enhanced Supplier Management certified auditor, completes risk assessment on their materials, sets up and completes audits
Accountable for adhering to Colgate-Palmolive, and governmental guidelines related to EHS, Quality, and Regulatory for materials of responsibility.

The Individual

Education:

B.A./B.S. Degree in a technical or business field, CPM and/or MBA desirable.

Experience:

Over 4 years of Procurement or Supply Chain experience, SAP and Robotic Process Automation experience is an advantage. English proficiency.

Additional Requirement: Business mindset, Change positive, Flexibility and basic Business etiquette
