We're seeking a dynamic Director Business Development to drive B2B revenue through Loyalty white-label, Loyalty solutions, and strategically growing relationships with big merchants.
What you will be responsible for:
1. Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets through new customer acquisition, customer retention, up-selling, and cross-selling, with a focus on Loyalty Solutions (sampling, O2O, white-label, etc.)
- Lead full sales cycles, including qualifying prospects, presenting to customers, and closing deals.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for merchant acquisition, growth, and retention, particularly for large brands (such as FMCG, FnB, Retail, and Bank)
2. Strategic Planning
- Set Business Development and sales strategies.
- Develop frameworks for merchant onboarding, negotiation, and pricing.
- Understand P&L and ROI calculations for each deal.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in large merchant accounts,
- Create and implement onboarding processes, negotiation frameworks, and pricing strategies for merchants.
- Identify and execute joint marketing programs with merchants to create new sales opportunities.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Marketing teams to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
- Collect and synthesize market information on key pain points and hurdles.
- Bridge technical understanding between Merchant and Product teams.
- Provide first-level feedback on offer feasibility and customization.
- Understand and navigate hurdles from both internal and external departments.
4. Operations and Reporting:
- Manage the sales pipeline and CRM tools, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Communicate regularly with BOD and Investors on projects, priorities, and progress.
5. Team Leadership & performance management
- Lead, coach, and mentor high-performing teams across Business Development, Partnership, and Key Account Management.
- Set clear performance metrics and provide regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Implement a customer-centric approach to sales and relationship management.
What you will be responsible for:

Yêu cầu
You will have the following skills and experience:
- 8+ years of experience in sales, preferably in B2B; Tech Product; FMCG sector.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and growing revenue, particularly with Loyalty Solutions or similar products.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills at the C-suite level.
- Strategic mindset with ability to convert strategy into execution.
- Comfort with uncertainty and eagerness to lead new business initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills for market analysis and sales strategy development.
- Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in F&B and/or FMCG industries.
+ Operational experience (e.g., running F&B, marketing) to better relate to merchants.
+ Experience in selling CRM/customer data management solutions.
- Personal Attributes:
+ Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on listening and empathy.
+ Ability to encourage open communication and understand nuanced feedback from merchants.
+ Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with ambiguity.
+ Adaptability to change and resilience in facing challenges.
