Mô tả công việc

* What you'll do
- Understand the general building industry.
- Read and interpret architectural and engineering plans into detailed shop drawings.
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by architects, engineers, or designers.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to accurately depict dimensions, materials, and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure that the drawings meet the required standards and specifications.
- Pay attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to interpret and translate design concepts into precise drawings
- Ensure customer queries are actioned and resolved appropriately in a timely manner to avoid construction delays.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of drafting processes and standards.
- Be able to work in a team or independently.
- Contribute to language-related projects and initiatives.
- Other tasks assigned by the Manager.

Yêu cầu

* Education
- A degree or diploma in drafting, architecture, or engineering, or a related field preferred or an Associates plus equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in drafting or a related field is preferred. This may include internships, apprenticeships, or practical work experience.
- Knowledge of Australian building codes and timber construction (preferred).
* Technical Skills
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software is essential.
- A strong understanding of technical drawings, engineering, and construction documentation is necessary.
* Effective Communication
- Strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines are also important.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is preferable.
