Establishment, Management, and Control of Safety, Health, and Environment at the Facility:
- Safety: Focus on factory operations and contractor management.
- Health: Manage periodic health checks, occupational health diseases, and the impact of the working environment on employees' health.
- Objective: Execute all supporting activities of job requirements toward "safely producing the highest quality products while complying with legal requirements."
- Compliance Coordination: Coordinate the compliance process with local legal and Huhtamaki's EHS regulations.
- Risk Management: Plan and perform high-level risk assessments to identify and prioritize risks, ensuring appropriate control measures are defined.
- Environmental Management: Implement a management system for the environment in accordance with local legal regulations.
- Incident Investigation: Execute high-quality investigation processes using the 5WHY method to analyze the root cause of an environmental event.
- EHS Training: Design, plan, and deliver EHS training to ensure compliance with local laws.
- Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate EHS topics to all stakeholders.
- Environmental Audits: Perform environmental audits based on a predefined schedule, focusing on identifying and promptly correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors.
- Reporting: Report all mandatory environmental events and KPIs in a timely and accurate manner.
- Environmental Control: Manage waste, including water, hazardous waste, and air emissions.
