Electrical & Instrument Control Engineer

Basic Function
The Project E&C Engineer will manage and support the delivery of electrical and instrumentation for Mincore projects. You'll ensure the safe and efficient operation of Electrical and Control systems while improving reliability, compliance and performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. You'll be responsible for managing critical engineering documentation (like P&IDs, Single Line Diagrams, Load Lists, Cable Schedules, electrical drawings, etc.
2. Understanding of PLC programs, systems and hardware & upgrade for brown field projects
3. Managing and supporting end-to-end delivery of E & C projects, from design to execution
4. Leading upgrades and maintenance for LV/HV electrical systems, DCS, PLCs, SCADA and instrumentation
5. Ensuring compliance with IEC/Australian standards and hazardous area requirements
6. Working closely with project teams, OEMs, and contractors to deliver safe and efficient outcomes
7. Contribute to continuous improvement in automation, power distribution and plant control systems
8. Supporting HAZOPs, SIL assessments, and shutdown planning
9. Reviewing and developing technical documentation and scopes of work
10. Ensure project delivery aligns with safety, quality and performance expectations.
