Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Yield Improvement
Lead failure analysis on module test/cosmetic failures, including fails from production, qual, DMR units from module returns and RMA field returns. Root causes identified root, issue solved and corrective action implemented
Generate weekly yield report of module production test, failure modes analysis, coordinate supporting divisions reach yield target.
Coordinate OSA team to make design optimization well validated, qualified and executed smoothly for product yield/reliability improvement and cost down (2nd source, low cost design.)
Lead test correlation among module test, OSA test, in-process OSA data, optimize in-process specs for overall yield improvement.
2. Scrap/cost Reduction
Improve First pass yield to reduce scrap, analyze module level Scrap, coordinate improvement actions to reduce module scrap.
Create debug tree. Debug MVT failed samples to identify design, assembly or test related issues. Feedback design/assembly/test related issues and resolving with respective teams.
Generate disposition guidance for module test failures by failure mode. Establish internal /cross site return rules w/ counter party w/ minimized rework cost.
3. Product On time Delivery
Work closely with product engineers to collect yield data supporting HPU reduction from optimizations of test corners, test time, tuning algorithms...
Support module
testers setup/debug/maintenance to ensure planned capacity for product on-time delivery.
