Engineering Attendant

As we are expanding our portfolio in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, we are looking for an Engineering Attendant to join our pre-opening team. As an Engineering Attendant, you will support the Engineering team in maintaining the property's facilities, equipment, and technical systems to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for our guests and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the day-to-day maintenance of engineering systems, equipment, and facilities.
Carry out routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns.
Support the Engineering team with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks as required.
Maintain tools, equipment, and engineering areas in good working condition.
Report technical issues and maintenance requirements to the Engineering Supervisor.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental standards.
Support pre-opening activities, installations, testing, and commissioning where required.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment issues.
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in an engineering or maintenance role, preferably within a hotel, resort, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
Basic knowledge of general maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and air-conditioning systems.
Practical troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn.
A proactive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
Good attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
