Role Description The EPC QA/QC Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Tuyen Quang, Vietnam. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control procedures across EPC projects, ensuring compliance with company standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing quality plans, conducting inspections and tests, monitoring construction and installation activities, and coordinating with project teams to resolve quality issues. The role also involves performing internal quality audits, analyzing nonconformities, recommending corrective and preventive actions, and maintaining accurate quality documentation and records. The EPC QA/QC Engineer collaborates closely with engineering, construction, and procurement teams to support safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Inspection to verify materials, equipment, and construction work against standards and specifications.
Candidates should possess robust Quality Assurance and Quality Management capabilities to develop, implement, and improve project quality plans and procedures.
Candidates should possess experience in Quality Auditing to perform internal and external audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Relevant qualifications in engineering (e.g., electrical, mechanical, civil) or a related technical field; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience in EPC projects within the power or energy sector, ideally including large-scale or renewable energy projects.
Knowledge of applicable quality standards and codes (e.g., ISO-based quality systems, construction and power industry standards).
Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams on-site.
