The Academic Department plays a pivotal role in achieving this mission by offering teachers professional development, providing information and resources, and fostering a professional learning community for K-12 teachers and school leaders.
As an Academic Intern at EQuest Group, you will be an integral part of the Academic Department, contributing to the growth and success of our K-12 schools. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual who thrives in a collaborative fast-paced environment, possesses a strong interest in education (preferably K-12), and is dedicated to making a positive social and educational impact at a large scale. The responsibilities are detailed, and not limited to, as below:
Key Responsibilities
1. Teacher Professional Development
Assist in coordinating instructional services for teachers and leaders (e.g., webinars, coaching, etc.).
Research best practices and resources to provide student-centered consultation for schools.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to support the ongoing accreditation process.
2. Information and Resource Management
Assist in curating and disseminating educational resources on the team's webpage and social media.
Stay updated on the latest trends and research in education fields relevant to K-12.
Research accreditation organizations and services, standardized testing, and accreditation frameworks and tools.
3. Professional Learning Community Building
Support organizing events (e.g., conferences, workshops, Open Days, festivals, summits, etc.) to facilitate a vibrant K-12 professional learning community.
Contribute creatively to the design of engaging academic events within the budget.
Assist in fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among K-12 teachers and school leaders.
