The Equipment Engineer has accountabilities of effectively handling Maintenance activities, developing collaborative partnerships with colleagues. They deliver to business results while maintaining positive employee relations. Their daily tasks are maintenance control, customer service, area financial performance, Quality, EHS, Labor Relations, people and team development.
The Equipment Engineer will be an effective and valuable member of the Focus Factory management team, to ensure delivery of subsidiary business results in their area. Person in charge works within a structure that requires considerable work with Focus Factory production and Planning. In addition, the position guides and empowers teams in the implementation of Factory strategy.

Supervises all activities related to the maintenance, repair, overhaul, trouble-shooting, and installation of factory equipment and production line set-ups for product changes and building related as well.

Core Responsibilities (these may vary depending upon size or location of site; additional responsibilities may be added as vital):

Plans and schedules preventive maintenance works. Coordinates with production engineers for all works related to the factory process and support equipment.
Provides technical guidance and training to line operators performing maintenance tasks. Counsel on repairs and service procedures. Assists in diagnosing and trouble-shooting in order to settle action needed.
Ensures that the maintenance work conforms to the company standards and equipment manufacturer's procedures and specifications.
Recommends to the production engineers all requirements for tools, repair, equipment and spare parts.
Arranges purchase requests for spare parts. Also is responsible for getting parts locally fabricated when necessary. Responsible for spare parts inventory in accordance with company policy (Using CMMS).
Supervises the keeping of the engineering files and files, including as applicable all manufacturer's warranties, maintenance history of each individual piece of equipment, cost records and parts inventories.

Core responsibilities:

Establishes preventive maintenance programs & schedules and ensures their implementation in the most economical and expedient manner, in coordination with the production engineers (Using CMMS).
Supervises and provides technical support for product line changes- Using Quick Changeover technique.
Trains line personnel and maintenance technicians in operational and mechanical diagnosis, routine repairs and safety systems.
Liaise closely with the company EHS coordinator, FP&R coordinator, and GMP program to implement all as required.
Coordinate with other related areas to improve the QS040 and QS043 as Quality Standard requirements.
Use the SFR, CMMS, SAP and FP&R tools for implementing job optimally.
Lead Quality/FP&R/EHS standard: refer to R & R matrix detail for each standard.

What we require:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in Technical field (Engineering, etc.)
Has 1 - 3 years demonstrated ability in Project Management/ Engineering/ Production
