Event Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Manager to join our Creative & Communication agency. The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, ranging from small internal workshops and parties to large-scale festivals and launch events. This key role involves managing all aspects of events, including coordination with suppliers, developing pitching decks for creative and communication proposals, and ensuring each event's success and alignment with our agency's vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Execution
Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events, including workshops, internal parties, launch events, festivals, and other significant events.
Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure all events are delivered on time and within budget.
Coordinate all operational aspects of events, including venue selection, logistics, catering, entertainment, and staffing.
Supplier Management
Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Oversee contracts, invoices, and payments to suppliers, ensuring compliance with agreed terms (with support from our Admin).
Creative & Communication Proposals
Collaborate with the creative team to develop and present compelling pitching decks for creative and communication proposals to clients.
Ensure all proposals are aligned with client needs and feasibilities, and reflect our creative vision and expertise.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, creative, to ensure seamless execution of events.
Lead and motivate a team of event staff freelancers and volunteers, providing clear direction and support.
Event Promotion
Develop and implement event marketing strategies to promote attendance and engagement.
Utilize social media, email campaigns, and other marketing channels to maximize event reach and impact.
Post-Event Analysis
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and assess event success.
Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes, including financial performance, attendee feedback, and areas for improvement.
Candidate profile
We would like to hear from those who have:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event planning and management, preferably within a creative or communication agency.
Proven track record of successfully managing a variety of events.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
Creative and strategic thinker, with the ability to develop innovative event concepts and proposals.s.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
