Event Operations Intern

Sunrise Events Vietnam organizes some of the most well-recognized mass participation sporting events in Vietnam, such as the Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon and the VinFast IRONMAN 70.3 Vietnam in Da Nang. Position Title: Operations Intern
Type: Full-Time
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the team in managing task status and liaising with other team members to push task completion on schedule.
Conducting research on current trends and changes, including technologies, operational techniques, international standards and rules related to the field that SEV is working on.
Planning and executing particular work packages/activities during event week.
Working closely with senior staff to improve customer journeys by assessing/evaluating critical moments, and proposing changes to level up customer experience.
Able to be independently responsible for a specific position during event week.
Skills and qualifications:
Research skills, including searching for required information, applying AI tools to daily work, and integrating and analyzing data is a plus (both qualitative and quantitative).
Proficient in English and Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
Understanding of project management in general and event management in particular.
Familiar with project management software such as Microsoft Project.
Critical and system thinking.
