An F&B Coordinator assists in daily Food and Beverage operations with all administrative functions and general secretarial duties as required by the F&B Manager as well as coordination of the department.
What will I be doing?
An F&B Coordinator assists in daily Food and Beverage operations with all administrative functions and general secretarial duties as required by the F&B Manager as well as coordination of the department therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Type reports, letter, memoranda and correspondence including those of a confidential nature for the operations office, and maintain files accordingly. Take down and transcribe dictation and minutes of meetings.
- Liaison with all other departments, (including Kitchen, accounting, purchasing, FO etc) for and on behalf of the F&B Director.
- Process sponsorship requests.
- Answer and place telephone calls and arrange appointments for the F&B Manager, and remind them of the same. Liaison with the concerned parties.
- Receive and screen office callers and visitors, schedule and set up appointments.
- Maintain adequate stock of office supplies, initiate necessary requisition for approval of the F&B Director.
- Keep the F&B Director informed of VIPs, groups and other arrivals for the day of hotel events and of other matters which concerns him/her.
- Open, read, sort and record incoming office mail, forward to personnel concerned, dispatch and record outgoing mail.
- See to the cleanliness and maintenance of the F&B office and equipment,
- Performs other duties as may be required by the F&B Director.
