Set up headcount, facilities, process included production, material warehouse, finished goods warehouse, packing ...
Overseeing all activities of the planning function, making decisions and providing guidance/ advice on order acceptance, coordinating with internal/ external teams/ sub-contractors etc. and ensuring that plant capacities are fully utilized at the agreed performance levels/ sales.
Attending capacity planning meetings; discussing with the team; identifying/ analyzing/ resolving all planning and loading related problems; communicating/ coordinating with relevant departments and applying the best solutions to devise the most precise and practical production plans as target
Overseeing critical path confirmed for delivery, sample/ top of production sample approvals etc.
Overseeing and ensuring that the data capturing process of the plant and ensure accurate data update on ERP system after every process. Ensure ERP system is up to date by clearing the WIP timely manner
Overseeing the work of the team in areas such as capacity planning/ loading, coordination of orders from receipt of order to dispatch and budgeting for capacity.
Coordinating and following-up with the relevant Departments as Supply chain on all issues pertaining to the delivery of scheduled materials to ensure that they are in-housed as scheduled and informing the respective departments on the receipt of the items.
Overseeing and managing all the operations from Cut to Ship and the management, and advising the team to ensure all issues related to the cutting process are resolved efficiently and effectively.
Monitoring and controlling material over-consumption to reduce additional cost. Ensuring that high productivity is maintained by minimizing the material wastage.
Ensuring the accurate scheduling of the cutting section output and appropriate manpower balancing to cater to production priorities.
Ensuring the availability of relevant documentation from the Supply Chain and Production Departments, verifying the accuracy of data and planning and organizing the finished goods operation as per customer requirements
Overseeing the process of preparing reports pertaining to the status of the goods and defective product, upon the completion of the shipment.
Ensuring that all stores documents and reports are prepared on-time to facilitate managerial decision making. These reports include: Finished goods report, and Stock reconciliation report.
