The Role: Finance and Compliance Officer (Part-time)
We are looking for a sharp, startup-ready Finance and Compliance Officer to join our founding team on a part-time basis. This is not a corporate accounting role. This is an ownership role for someone who understands the financial reality of early-stage operations, is comfortable with ambiguity, and wants to be the person who keeps a fast-moving platform clean, compliant, and financially sound.
You will be the financial backbone of SariKo as we move from pre-revenue into our first GMV milestones and through our pre-seed close.

Responsibilities
Financial Administration
Maintain accurate bookkeeping and records across VND and USD accounts
Prepare monthly financial reports, burn rate summaries, and cash flow statements
Manage accounts payable and receivable as platform transactions begin
Support payroll processing and ESOP ledger tracking as the team grows
Tax and Regulatory Compliance
Handle Vietnam tax obligations including VAT, CIT, and PIT filings under Zen Tech Asia Co., Ltd.
Liaise with local tax authorities and support resolution of any outstanding compliance matters
Ensure continuous MOIT and business registration compliance
Support VNPay payment gateway onboarding from a tax and compliance standpoint
Cross-Border and Investor Operations
Manage multi-currency financial operations (VND via VPBank, USD via Grey Business)
Support investor reporting as Founders Circle and pre-seed fundraising progresses
Assist with SAFE documentation compliance and cap table record-keeping

Qualifications
Vietnam CPA license or equivalent accounting certification (required)
Minimum 3 years of experience in Vietnam tax compliance and financial administration
Experience with e-commerce platforms, technology startups, or cross-border commerce (strongly preferred)
Bilingual in Vietnamese and English (required)
Comfortable in a remote-first, early-stage environment with minimal hand-holding
Familiarity with accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Wave, or equivalent
Bonus: experience with Delaware C-Corp reporting or US entity financial compliance
