Financial Accounting Manager

BAT VIETNAM IS LOOKING FOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING MANAGER
SENIORITY LEVEL: Manager Level
FUNCTION: Finance
SALARY RANGE: Competitive market salary + Bonus scheme + Excellent benefits
LOCATION: Dong Nai, Vietnam
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
• Reports to: Finance Manager
• Reporting Level: Manages Self & Others
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
1) Business
• Be responsible for financial accounting activities (AR, AP, GL, monthly closing, Vietnamese Accounting book, reporting, credit limit reviews...).
• In charge for statutory audit - twice per year (interim, final)
• Be responsible for all local and group Tax reports, tax activities (CIT, VAT, Withholding Tax, TP, group Tax commentary, Tax audit, local audit etc.)
• Advise/ consult stakeholders to embed tax compliance and propose to mitigate tax risks
• In charge of group direct cash flow forecast (BATCASH).
• Co-ordinate Banks in Vietnam and Global Treasury Operation Team for treasury activities (Hedging, Deposit, Loan, payment ,insurance etc.)
• Be responsible for regular housekeeping (Local policies in Share point, master data review conducted by GBS, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with local, group treasury policy, Control Navigator. Identify the potential risk, highlight to Line Manager, and propose for the solutions.
• Participate actively in cross functional projects.
2) People
• Build strong collaborative working relationships within finance leadership team and cross functional employees
• Self-development by undertaking a capability gap analysis (leadership & functional competency) then pro-active drive development plan to ensure the skill and knowledge levels are met expectations.
• Development of teams capabilities through coaching
• Exhibit leadership capabilities in engagement with key stakeholders through behaviors and attitudes which are in line with the guiding principles
• Hold self and team responsible for high standards of delivery, on time and in full
• Ensure the delivery of the departmental objectives through appropriate resource allocation, staff development, coaching & mentoring.
