About the Position:
1) Position: Forwarding Executive
Forwarding Executive is a crucial role of our Integrated Logistics team, reporting to Forwarding General Manager.
2) Job responsibilities:
2.1 Customer Service & Operations
- Smoothly handle Company's daily freight forwarding operations including sea/air import/export, trucking, custom clearance.... in compliance with Company's Policy, SOP and resolute issues or complaint if occurred.
- Issuance all relating forwarding import & export documents and process all shipments' charges into forwarding system and with accounting department.
- Ensure excellent services quality including complaint resolution provided to customers; maintain and develop good customer services relationship with customers, overseas agents, service providers, shipping lines, co-loaders.
- Understand service requirements and propose competitive quotation with appropriate solution, advice and pricing to all inquiries received from customers and overseas agents.
- Find, negotiate, and select appropriate sub-contractors, service providers, shipping lines, overseas agents... to get best competitive rates and good services to match with customers' requirements; then appoint, follow up and control service providers during shipments handling process.
- Set up new business scheme, make service contract with customers & service providers, establish standard operating procedures (SOP) ... to implement new business operations when achieved business.
- Constantly update forwarding team, customers and partners with Vietnam new rules and regulations relating to forwarding business.
- Update Company presentation with forwarding business showcase, quotation, market trends, concept, innovative proposals.
- Report both quantitative and qualitative monthly results to Forwarding General Manager.
- Other tasks assigned by Forwarding General Manager.
2.2 Business development support:
- Do pricing, make buying comparison and choose the best competitive rate then send to BD team and/or other customers' inquiries
- Make quotation if receive any new inquiries.
- Set up meeting with customers to introduce MGLV and try to cross-sales and up-sales to find new business opportunities for the Company.
- Advise to customers/ agents if they have any questions or concerns about import/ export custom formalities.
