ABOUT THE ROLE:
FinX aims to build a digital bank that will deliver on the promise of simplicity, technological advancement, superior customer products & services.
Job Description:
Build custom UI components and implement business logic with React/[protected info]
Own features end-to-end (design discussion, implementation, testing, and rollout) with a product mindset - understand the "why" behind a feature, not just the "what".
Drive improvements in UX, system performance, and front-end architecture (including Micro Frontend adoption where it makes sense).
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations to gather feedback and turn it into actionable improvements.
Propose solutions that improve business and operations performance, not just ship what's requested.
Explore and apply AI-assisted tools (e.g. AI coding assistants, LLM-powered features) to speed up development and/or enrich the product experience.
Mentor and support teammates to help the team deliver as a whole.
Your skill and experience:
2+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Strong hands-on experience with React and [protected info], and a solid command of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS - including deep understanding of the underlying design philosophy of these frameworks.
Experience building and maintaining large-scale web applications, with a track record of optimizing end-user experience, rendering performance, stability, scalability, and code modularity (Caching/CDN/Service Worker, code-splitting, SSR/ISR, etc.).
Experience working with Micro Frontend architecture (e.g. Module Federation, single-spa, or similar) - able to reason about module boundaries, shared state, versioning, and independent deployability across teams.
Product-oriented mindset: comfortable evaluating trade-offs between engineering effort and business/user value, and proactively suggesting improvements rather than only executing tickets.
Practical experience working with AI tools in the development workflow - e.g. AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, etc.), and/or integrating LLM/AI-powered features into products.
Experience with API integration (REST/JSON, and ideally GraphQL or WebSocket for real-time use cases).
Good understanding of SOLID principles and common design patterns.
Understanding of banking and financial services regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
Nice to have:
Experience with design systems / component libraries used across multiple products.
Familiarity with performance monitoring and observability tools (Lighthouse, Web Vitals, Sentry, etc.).
Exposure to Low-Code/No-Code platform development.
