Full Stack Engineer (Python, Typescript)

Full-stack role across two products: AI workspace for teams and Open Banking credit profiling
Build, ship and maintain features end to end on both products: Python back-end services and APIs, and TypeScript web front ends.
Work on core product features: messaging, AI agents, automations and integrations in nzero; onboarding and credit-profiling flows in CreditCheck.
Design and maintain APIs, data models and third-party integrations (Open Banking providers; workplace tools such as Gmail, Slack and Notion).
Write clean, tested, maintainable code and take part in code reviews.
Investigate and fix production issues; improve performance and reliability.
Handle financial and personal data with care, following secure-coding and data-protection (GDPR) practices.
Work day to day in English with the Lead Developer and the product team in Spain.
Must-have skills & qualifications
Years of experience: 3-5+ years of professional full-stack development
Education level: Bachelor's in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent experience
Language(s): English - professional working proficiency
Strong Python on the back end: APIs and services (e.g. FastAPI, Django or Flask).
Strong TypeScript on the front end with a modern framework (e.g. React or Vue).
Proven experience building and running full-stack web applications in production.
REST API design, SQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) and third-party integrations.
Good engineering practice: Git, code review, automated testing, CI/CD.
Able to work independently in a remote, distributed team and communicate clearly in English.
Nice-to-have (preferred but not required)
Fintech experience: Open Banking / PSD2, payments, credit scoring or KYC.
Experience building AI / LLM-powered features (agents, automations).
Docker and Kubernetes; PostgreSQL / Supabase.
Real-time features such as messaging (WebSockets).
Security-minded development: authentication (OAuth / OIDC), encryption, data protection.
Previous remote work with European or other international teams.
